Nowadays, a lot of people in our country is experiencing humiliation from collection agents. Collection agency is a booming business since the number of defaulters is ever increasing due to the worlwide economic crisis. The government should look into the protection of our rights against abusive and greedy collectors, who torments us with damaging words, adding insult to the injury.
What can we possibly do? I have gathered the following advices:
1. Pray for them , the Bible instructs us to pray for our enemies;
2. Avoid talking to them;
2. Ask for their name, phone no.;
3. Don't take them personally;
4. Ignore them;
5. Just answer yes or no, no need to explain.
6. Report to the BSP.
